Seyfi held up a silencing hand before the man could finish. He shook his head a bit, smiling still so's not to rouse some kind of interest from passers-by.
"It would be best if such things were not discussed so openly; it has been said that a few people have disappeared for speaking poorly of the emperor." He cocked an eyebrow at him. "Though I think they would have a hard time getting rid of you. In the sense that you seem to be a very prominent presence, of course."
He chuckled a bit, glancing away again.

"Ehhhh?" Katsuya tilted his head to the side, frowning. He wasn't exactly sure what Seyfi meant by that, but... it seemed pretty complimentary, right? "I guess I am... prominent, that is," he said, puffing out his chest. "No one in his right mind would try an' get rid of me!"

Seyfi smiled a bit and chuckled again lightly, raising an eyebrow. "I can see that. Quite confident in yourself, I am also seeing. I do hope that the grim times coming do not dampen your spirits, like they seem to be doing so already to everyone else here."
He pushed himself off the frame he had been leaning on, stretching slightly. "Hopefully you found a place to stay around here; with the threat of war, everyone came crawling in here looking for security."

He scooted closer to the two conversing men, trying to catch what they were saying. He stopped a few paces away, actually standing rather close to Katsuya. Giggling at the other's insistance that he was a 'prominent' man, Yoshiaki leaned forward to inspect a bracelet on the stand.
At the mention of war, however, he dropped the bracelet in a panic. Scrambling to pick it up, he soon realized that suddenly bending over was not a good idea--various people bumped into him causing him to fall messily onto the ground.
He winced, he had made a rather loud impact.
