General Information
Name: Sze Liuchao
Gender: Male
Age/Birthday: 32 / May 4th
Side: His own . . . I mean China
Appearance Information
Height: 146cm (~ 4’ 8”)
Weight: 40kg (~ 90bs)
Hair: Predominantly black, though he's starting to get a few grey hairs; pulled neatly into a bun on the back of his head (it's about mid-waist length if he lets it down), however he religiously dyes it the grey black every morning. He also plucks his eyebrows. And he keeps a short, neat goatee of hair which he grooms regularly.
Eyes: Nearly black eyes, faint hint of brown in them; his eyes show a bit of his cunning nature. He darkens his eyes with kohl, also using it to give them a bit more of a sensuous look than they might otherwise possess
Face: Oval, with well-proportioned features with a sort of long and narrow characteristic.
Skin Color: Pale, with a sort of sallow, olive tone to it
Form: His form is characterized by long and narrow features with little to no muscle tone. His form is more soft than angular, though not nearly so much as a woman's. He has slight curve to his hips, much to his annoyance.
Clothes: Liuchao wears a purple shirt with a mandarin collar under a round-neck robe which is also predominantly purple. His robe is trimmed with black and embroidery depicting a lion. He also is never seen without his Ming hat (at least in public), black with long flaps hanging down on either side.
Hands: Unremarkable, save for the purple jade ring on his right hand and for the fact that they are completely without calluses
Battle Information
Weapon: His wit (in other words, he’s not a fighter)
How is their agility (speed): Physically not so hot, but mentally he’s like lightening
Style: In respects to his cunning, he’s both offensive and defensive . . . .
Thoughts on Battle: He sees it as necessary and perhaps takes some enjoyment out of it--so long as it’s someone else doing the fighting and not him
Misc. Information
Talents: Quick wit and inter-personal skills/persuasive skills, he knows how to get people to do what he wants; strategy
Inabilities: Overly suspicious, ignorance of any sort of fighting skill
General Personality: In a few words, Liuchao is very fake person. He spent his youth learning the games of the court and as such is a mastermind at manipulation and flattery. He is a master of half-truth and lies, weaving them imperceptibly in everything he does or says. His sole motivation is greed and a healthy lust for power. Although he is quick to promise rewards to those who would aid them he is also quick to dispose of those who have served their purpose; he does his best to leave no evidence behind. On the surface he appears to be a caring Uncle, faithfully devoted to his Emperor; he allows no cracks in his mask as the perfect and most trustworthy courtier. Liuchao is a very cautious person and as such can often be overly suspicious. He sometimes jumps to conclusions on very little evidence at all. Liuchao’s motto is to think before he acts. The only thing that has ever overridden his supreme patience and self-control was his own lust for power.
Historical Background
General History: Sze Liuchao was born into the secondary bloodline of the Sze monarchy. As such, the throne was always just outside his grasp. This was something to be accepted in his youth, but as he grew in power within the political circles of the nobility and slowly learned to play the games of politics he began to have higher ambitions. He spent years slowly calculating a plan by which he might usurp the throne from his brother. The birth of his brother’s sons proved to be a problem, but Liuchao’s growing obsession began to override his natural caution as he vowed to himself to find a way to power.
With the carefully plotted murder of his brother out of the way, he had only to focus on his nephews. After helping urge Kamying to war and successfully getting Kamlong out of the capital and out of his hair he was able to orchestrate his second murder. Now the only one standing between him and absolute authority to the throne is General Kamlong.
Edit: Right . . . now that he's been totally revamped for the scarring of Fai . . . .
