A chilled breeze took flight, motioning the boy's hair towards the west. His eyes were focused towards the sky, his arms folded under his head while one ankle was crossed over another. The garden area of the market was almost always abandoned, except for the occasional civilians who left flowers for grieving. Fai, from afar, would look rested and at peace. Any closer and he would look exhausted, sick and haggard. His hat was on the ground next to him.
It had been two days since he sent a letter to one of his older friends. They had been separated almost instantly with Kamying's death and to even speak to each other in the palace would pin them as traitors under the law of treason. So, he had planned to meet his friend in the garden. At least he hoped he would show up because his inner grieving was making all the less lively.
Tired. So.. tired. Fai thought, the lids of his eyes almost closing. But when it came to the darkness beneath his lids he would catch a glimpse of the deceased. Quite suddenly did he sit up, place his right hand to his mouth and cough into it. Inhaling he shook his head, figuring there was no escape.

Dao had slowly walked through the market place, pretending to be interested in the passing shops. He had chosen this path merely to appear discreet. Pretending to browse as his calm and pallid face scanned the area.
He slowly made way to the garden, it was his intent to discuss the current affairs of th is country without the social pressure underneath him. Being the servant of the country meant he had to agree with the country continually. His loyalty was never a question to him, even if his idealisms were. He passed the boy until he seemed to be peering at the the walkways, he seemed to be gazing outward, although he was just making it to seem as if they were not together. "So what have we on this afternoon?" His placid voice seemed as complacent as the scenery itself.

Fai felt the presence, his head not turning towards Dao. As though a stranger it was assumed to not speak to each other. Especially considering they were both in uniform. With the weight and burden of Kamying's death, his hand went to his forehead like he was fighting the very urge to following into the earth as well.
"Kamlong," the boy said the name, derived from the name Kamying. "He has a duty with the military in China, but with his Uncle pressuring the news back in his excuse to 'protect his family' maybe be the cause and affect of wanting power for himself." His voice didn't waver in tone, and his eyes stared forward into the shadowed areas of the garden. Chest tightening with anxiety, his head tilted towards Dao. "LiuChao, is not only poisoning his entire family but the mentality of every civilian."

"More conflict....." he muttered to himself. Looking upward as if he had a fleeting thought, and then closed his eyes will his index finger of the left hand rested on his temple. The young prominent looking man let out a small breath of air before starting again. "So do you think this time we may have a hand? Or continue to be the watch dogs. He made this seem all very typical. Not so much angry or arrogant as sincere despite the analogy. It seemed cold and clamouring to him, he had hoped it would rain, it always felt so renewing on his pale skin.

With a quick shift of his right leg he reached his left hand down to take the hat off from the ground. His free hand pressed down and he slowly lifted himself up to his feet. Still, he was not facing Dao. Finally, he bowed his head and placed the hat back on to slowly turn. Five paces to the left and he was standing next to Dao. Fai's throat burned and he swallowed hard to get the sensation to stop. But no matter what, the sickness drove straight to home.
"The exact location of the military is well covered under LiuChao. Where Kamlong is, the information is little. But the messenger is always informed of the camp, so if we intervene with that system we'll hopefully enable some type of relief. As long as Kamlong knows, the position will be properly adjusted to the last heir," everything about this hurt. Now his head was turned, his golden eyes glanced up to his friend. "Your health? It's well?"

He nodded. Truth be told he didn't really know but he decided to calm the tension by saying yes. He opened his left eye to glance at the boy. No matter what the other always seemed hopeful. It was strange. Honorable, yes, pessimistic, yes he was that too. The eye closed again, lost in thought. "We will do what we will and what is necessary," He said calmly, "What do you think necessary?"

Seeing the nod wasn't enough to convince him of Dao's good-health. But he wouldn't disregard and assume that the other lied. And for a moment, even if a second, he had seen Dao's eye. It had been long since he last stared into the eyes of his friend, and like usual he pulled away and drifted back into his walls. "It's necessary to let Kamlong know of his loss and to warn him of his Uncle's vile intentions," Fai concluded.
Quite suddenly did his face contort in a spasm of pain, before it faded back into the blank expression. Attention no longer focused on his friend except forward. Feeling out of place he crossed his arms over his chest and fought the urge to cough or express his undying sorrow.

He folded his arms into the dark robes. The dark red seemed to make his pale skin luminous. "If that is what you desire," he said calmly. "Remember that I never plan the game, I only play as the pawns," he nodeed to nothing in particular.
It was true, he never took an active part and never debated despite his interest in politics themselves. His arms folded around his waist. These were the only hads that placed themselves on his body.

"Ah," Fai made a noise in theory to Dao's thesis. He understood what he was saying quite well. It dawned on him that his request might be a bit much and his eyes folded down - attempting to close but he refused to go into the darkness to see anyone's face. "If there is a way to take LiuChao's life..." words trailed off, eyes shifting towards his friend again. Only then did he notice the superficial glow from Dao's flesh, almost like a ghost. He hoped that made no prediction to his friend's future.
