Orie didn't stop walking, but he turned his eyes heavenward where the other man couldn't see them. "What are you, my mother?" he called over his shoulder. He didn't want to get into another scuffle again, but this guy couldn't stop asking questions. "Fine," he said, stopping in his tracks and turning just enough so that he could look back without straining his neck. "I'm looking for my...sister. She left our hometowk to find work, but I've lost contact with her. I'm just making sure she's alright, that's all. Gooodbye."

"Yeah, yeah," Katsuya said, grinning. "I'd believe that for sure, if you hadn't referred to a guy you were looking for earlier."

"Oh that one?" continued Orie, waving a hand dismissively. Ah, that was careless of him, he scolded himself internally. You idiot, you were asking about a man, and you come up with a lie about a woman? He was never good with bluffing. "That one is my target, not the one I'm looking for."

"Target, huh?" Katsuya laughed. It was just as he'd thought. "That bow, then, that's for him?"

No, for polevaulting, he thought flatly. The questions never stopped! "How clever of you," he monotoned, before turning to continue his exit. "Goodbye, for the last time."

"Enjoy yourself." Katsuya waved a hand nonchalantly, sauntering in the opposite direction. Snot-nosed kid, he growled inwardly, clenching his fist. I hope that "target" or whatever kicks his scrawny little ass...
