Today was going to be a bad day; he could feel the chill of death crawling over his flesh. No, he didn't fear for his own safety but he would wonder how Akiyama would take it. And if it was death, like Kourin had predicted, so be it. Perhaps it was selfish to think in a pessimistic way but rumors spread around every where - saying Akiyama had killed their husbands for trying to resign. Well, if it came to that he had left Sorano parchments and scrolls with the designated location and where she could access the fortune. Just in case...
When he entered the castle he noticed the guards and gave a nod of his head before stopping at Akiyama's door. He didn't want any grief about just barging in so he called out. "Sir, its Kyo - I need to see you about something." Listening to the noise behind the door he waited patiently for the other's word. Whether he could enter or not.

Writing up letters to send to certain people about his latest declaration had taken up most of his morning. He was tired, cranky and bored...not a good combination in most people but in him it was probably one of the worst, add angry to that and you would be dead for just disturbing him, or at least wishing you were.
"One moment." Finishing the latest batch of letters he sealed it and set it on a stack that was close to toppling over on the right side of his desk, a good amount of blank paper on the left. Then he stood, pushed his long thick hair behind him and walked around his desk to lean against it and glare, balefully, at the door in front of him.
"You may enter, and it better be worth my time Kyo." He sounded annoyed already and he hadn't even spoken with him...yet.

Kyo slid open the door to Akiyama's office, stepping in before closing it behind him. With that gesture he felt like he caged himself in. His eyes shifted upwards to rest on the other, aware of the announcement that he purposely skipped out on. And because of his power he bowed and would addresses Akiyama more properly, "Emperor Kisho." Standing up from his bent position he stepped forward once. "I've come to place in a resignation by word, not by disloyalty of your power or into retribution of status. However, I have found work else where that no longer requires the use of my blade - "
He paused, almost afraid to go on. " - and I would be very grateful if you recognized my respectful motives." To him his words seemed really confined and neutral, but it seemed all wrong because he was lying.

Dark eyes narrowed suspiciously. Akiyama was always that way though. And the rumors of men dying because they believed they could leave his service were true. once you agreed to work for or if you believed, with him, then you were that way for life. The only way to get out was to die. Usually Akiyama did this service free of charge, sometimes with his own bare hands.
"Tell me Kyo, how could one such as you live a normal life? Having so many innocent lives on your hands." Spreading out his own large hands he turned them palm up for emphasis on his words, his tone was almost friendly, and he was never friendly. Akiyama was toying with Kyo now, he had been bored and now here was some form of entertainment.

The whole time he watched the other's face, seeing the narrowed eyes. Akiyama probably suspected something from him. Kyo's expression was subdued and his eyes focused. Well, with the way Akiyama had put it he was saying that Kyo could not resign. It was all over the matter of breaking down those friendly words and translating them into the vast danger.
"Innocence can be stolen in so many ways, and almost everyone does it. Living in misery and regret is something I am not looking forward to," Kyo explained to Akiyama, though he knew he was wasting the other's time. "So you are the one to judge me, and give me another chance at life? I am grateful?" His gaze drifted slightly, knowing very well there was no chance in it. "And it's lost.."

Bringing his hands back together he folded them first then changed his mind and lay them against his thighs, studying Kyo as he spoke. He was a smart young man, he knew there was no way out of this. But how far was he willing to play the game right now? Because he wanted to resign in the first place Akiyama no longer trusted him, he couldn't though. Kyo could run off at any opportunity and leave, and Kisho would not be happy with that at all. So now the young man had literally screwed himself as it were. Akiyama was not going to let him leave this room except under two extreme circumstances. One: Dead and carried out. Two: Unconscious and carried out, to the dungeon and places on display much like his other toy and soon to be wife.
"Ahh you are right on that, so many of us take the innocence of others without regard to how they may think or feel. It is what separates us from them. It is what makes us better then them." Shaking his head sent his hair swaying back and forth but he was not to be distracted. "I am so sorry that you had to come to me with such news Kyo...but I suppose it could not be helped."
Then he was upright and his hands were held out in front of him a few inches, his whole body was taut and ready and he just gave Kyo a level look accompanied by a wide smirk.

Kyo wanted to close his eyes tightly to try and rid of the pounding within his head. But if he gave Akiyama that open moment, it could mean his life in a split second. He could feel the other advancing closer, even if it was by a gesture of hands. How sick it felt to know he was going to die or perhaps in a phase of Alive but Better off Dead. He almost flinched when Akiyama spoke, his floating within the room rather than focus on the 'Emperor'. "Emperor Kisho," Kyo said while his right hand lifted so his palm could rest against his own eyes so he was blind for a second.
"My wife is alive," he finalized and slowly moved his hand out of the way. The blue was intense within his irises, as though an ocean - a trap door to one who could drown within the depths of it. Where no one could breathe - a tragedy of the sorts. "Just thought you'd like to know." Yes, he could've pulled out his blade and probably defended himself but he continued to stand there. "I am so sorry, too.."

"Ahh is she now? How tragic for her. I will remember to send my condolences by tomorrow." The sick part of it was that he really did sound sad, for a brief moment. Then he was back to himself, emotionless and business-like now that he needed to be. Not as dark as he usually was but still as dangerous.
With just a few steps he was right along Kyo's side. His nose inches from the other man's ear. he actually sniffed at him, maybe like a predator or just because he could. "You smell odd Kyo, not bad though. I would eat you alive on any other day, but today is a special occasion. Today is a momentous one!" Laughter that was dark and promising came from him now and he took a step back, resting his forehead on Kyo's so that he could look into the strange young man's eyes.
"Then again maybe your wife would have been better off not mysteriously coming back from the dead. Ahh well such things cannot be prevented anymore." Surprisingly he kissed Kyo, very passionately, pushing the younger man back against the door with the momentum of his body and pinning him there. Hands grabbed his wrists and pulled his arms up over his head and held them against the door as well.

Perhaps he shouldn't have meant it so literally, but there was no point in explaining. He started to wonder why he wasn't moving, running. Almost like he was frozen in his spot. When Kisho stopped close to him he suddenly tensed and his eyes stared up at Kisho's. For a moment he wanted to peel back the other's flesh and see what was beneath, something that could explain Akiyama's cruelty. What color did the leader bleed? Well, now he was expecting some sort attack but instead he had received a kiss. A kiss of death?
With Akiyama pushing into his form he couldn't stop the movements until he felt his back pressed against the door. Then there was the restraint of his hands, no weapon to access now. How very grim. His stared at Kisho within the kiss, the expression within them bright.

Kissing him was not all that bad, though a more receptive person would have been nicer. Though instead of making Kisho angry it only made him grin, and it wasn't a friendly smile either. He pulled his face away and licked his lips. "For such an odd one you taste sweet, but your so bland in your actions. That really is too bad."
What should he do to Kyo? He could strangle him with his bare hands, but that would leave him open to defending himself. He could crack the back of his skull on the door but that may kill him. He didn't want him dead just yet. Well that wasn't true, he really didn't care what happened to him now. Kyo wanted to leave, well then he could leave. Maybe he should see if he could fly and toss him through the window.
"I am pondering what type of thing should be done to you. You were so helpful that maybe I will not have you suffer so much." He decided to see how much trauma Kyo's head could handle. Moving his hands he quick turned the younger man so that his face was pressed into the door, nose bent at a painful angle. He moved his hands to behind his back pulling in then roughly to get them in a better position. "I did this once before and it worked well, maybe on you it will as well."
Holding him against the door and tightly with one arm he situated it so that he couldn't move either arm then used his own free hand to remove the strong ribbon from his hair, laughing at the irony of using it once more in such a way. Then he tied up Kyo's hands, behind his back, making sure his shoulders were bent back at a very uncomfortable angle. "There...much better."

Kyo watched Kisho's every move until he was suddenly turned around and shoved against the door. It hurt his face some, but he had injuries that literally made this look like nothing. He moved his head down so his forehead was rested against the door instead, while Kisho fumbled with his ribbon. Now he was really restraint. With the way his arms were positioned it wouldn't help to even struggle - at least not if he wanted more pain.
At times like this one would hope to scream and yell for help. Or to be more talkative to distract the enemy from whatever he had planned. Just to prolong his life with pleas. But that thought never came to his mind, and the lids of his eyes closed. "If you ask it of me to be more animate, I shall. As I said, my leave was not based up on disloyalty, Emperor," and he would remain that way to the very end.

Kyo's words made Akiyama take pause. Not because of disloyalty? But no one left his service alive, that was how he stood in all things. Not to mention that Kyo had been one of his most favored and trusted people, never would he say friend...Kisho had no friends and never had, even as a child.
"So, what is your exact reason, dear Kyo, for wanting to leave my service? I highly doubt it has to do with your wife..." He trailed off even as he bit down on the younger mans shoulder muscle through the fabric of his clothing. Akiyama was excited with the prospect of defiling Kyo...but part of him was very uninterested. Especially if the younger man would just take it and not feel a damn thing about it.
Waiting for Kyo to answer him he trailed his tongue along the shell of his ear and began to fumble with his captives clothing, trying to find the quickest way possible to strip him down. He still planned on stripping him down, regardless of what he did to him. Kyo was not, unfortunately, going to leave this place in a conscious state. If Kisho kept feeling odd and disappointed he would just have him brought to the dungeon for play at a later date.

"For a friend," came muffled from his mouth, the bite distracting him for a moment. It was ironic to give a reason that Kisho could never understand. Perhaps he should've made up a different reason but his mind was never good at making up lies unless planned. When the other's tongue graced over his ear his head craned to the side a little. Every time Akiyama touched him he could swear he was losing a small piece of his soul. However, when Kisho moved his hands to remove the scarf from around his neck he suddenly froze. And in that instant he turned around to face the other, his shoulders still against the door.
"Chained to an idea and burden will drag them down, chained to a thought and it'll only escape and perhaps not even chained and all - the feeling is astray," Kyo said to Akiyama before taking a step forward to lean up and kiss the other's lips faintly before he could react to his words. Figuring for Kisho the evil was fueled by a sick passion and demented intentions. One thing was certain, he wasn't dead just yet.
"If you asked, I wouldn't leave but it's very upsetting to know you no longer trust me," he said nonchalantly, his eyes rested on Kisho's face. "It's a shame to know people are after you.."

A friend, that thought was extremely amusing to Kisho and he laughed quietly, his lips upturning and the mirth even reaching those cold dark eyes of his. "How trite. You should do things for yourself, your the only one that will always be there, the only one that truly matters."
One brow drew up wards as Kyo turned around and he watched the younger, shorter male with curiosity. Just what was he up to now? Kyo had been the one he trusted most...now he was just another person standing in his way. He listened to him but just as Kyo had thought, he hadn't had time to truly register what he was saying before he was kissed. Akiyama was never kissed willingly, the people feared him too much so it literally took him by surprise. He just stood there for a few moments, dark eyes wary and confused before he shook his head and practically snarled out his next words.
"It no longer matters, Kyo. You already said you wanted to leave and now it is too late." He kept small knives on his person at all times. While he may not be ridiculously proficient in using them in battle. He slipped one of them out from somewhere at his side and gave the younger man a wicked grin before slicing his clothes from ankle to neck, making ribbons out of them and subsequently out of the first layer of flesh.
Now Kyo was standing, shoulders to the wall, hands tied up...HIs clothing was shredded and a mess and he had around a dozen thin long cuts over his chest and thighs.
"People will always be after me. I can no longer trust you so I will not worry about the task I gave you before. Everyone wants to do away with what they fear most."

There was no reaction to his clothes slowly being defiled to shreds and he only blinked when the cuts on his flesh burned. His chin rose and his eyes watched Akiyama and he grinned largely up at him. So, he didn't care? Well, that was nice. He didn't care either...if he couldn't have the honors of instantly knocking Akiyama off his high horse - someone better do it and soon. How badly he wanted to have his wrists released to slowly scratch that wicked grin of his off.
"Well, isn't that nice," Kyo said sarcastically while sinking back towards the door. Once he was sure to have a stable support for his back he stood up a little more straight and craned his head. He wasn't going to beg at all and before he did anything else his hands hooked onto the edge of the door frame and hastily slid it open. Then he took a step back into the hall of the castle.
Before another wasted second could go by he darted off towards the exit, a few guards wondering what a man with shredding clothing while bleeding was doing running around. In his movements he folded his fingers in so the smaller knife within the neatly sewn hand guard would be at access, and to the extent of the sharpness of the blade he motioned it towards himself to cut the ribbon in half. Once his wrists were free he dropped the small knife and went quickly for his katana. He'd take everyone down with him, if he had to.
