Finally he had finished. Making several reports and writing up a few more obituaries then he should have. He also had gotten through the massive stack of papers on his desk. Now he was completely exhausted. After the ordeal with Kyo that had taken nearly 6 hours and then the 4 more hours of tedious paperwork, not to mention the 12 hours he had already been working...he hadn't eaten, bathed or relaxed one bit.
He steepled his fingers and then lay his head on the points. His eyes going shut, all he planned on doing was resting them. But he dozed off, his warrior instincts on high alert for anything. He just couldn't have stopped himself.

Kikio had gotten an order to bring a tray of tea and a selectable plate of dishes. She had to admit she was very excited to get close to the Emperor. Well, he was very handsome even if he had a sick dark aura that lofted after him. However, she was still new with the work in the palace and didn't take too much notice to higher-ranks. Not unless she spoke to them. When she arrived to Kisho's door she set down the tray to slowly open the door, already making her mistake: forgetting to announce her presence.
She took notice to the sleeping figure, and leaned down to grab the tray. With light steps she approached the desk, set the tray down and watched the other with large and curious eyes. Biting her bottom lip, she fought the urge to touch the man's face. However, she started to back-track her steps - knowing it was vital to disturb anyone's slumber no matter how much she wanted to stay.

When the door had opened he had been disturbed, though not enough so that he came roaring awake and killing anything in his wake. Just enough that he was listening and taking note of things, nothing more.
What fully woke him was the tray being set down on his desk. The subtle sound so close to him was enough for his eyes to flutter open and his head to tilt and stare at the servant girl. He removed his head from his fingers and turned in his seat even to watch her, one brow quirked up.
"You forgot to announce your presence. How long have you been working here?" He was in a somewhat decent mood at the moment, which may have something to do with his lack of sleep, food and bathing. Perhaps he was just too physically and mentally beat to be his usual bastardy self.
Though he did speak calmly there was a sudden light in his tired eyes, a fire of annoyance and something else.

When Akiyama's eyes fluttered open, she found herself staring into them longingly. However, she snapped out of it when he spoke up and she suddenly lowered herself into a respectful bow. "My apologies, Emperor Kisho. I just started last week," she said, keeping herself into a bow but moving her chin up to stare once more at his face. Yes, he did look tired and over worked. She at least hoped the tea and food would help him regain color to the haggard flesh of his.
Finding it sufficient enough from that long bow, she stood out of it. And to even place an emphasis on how she felt, she smiled at the Emperor. "I brought you tea along with other assorted dishes. May I get you anything else, sir?"

A new one hmm, probably to replace that traitor Sorano. Should he forgive the lovely young thing? He didn't see why not, feeling a bit charitable he simply nodded at her while she spoke, waiting...politely, for her to finish. "Do not let such a transgression happen again then. A week should be long enough to remember manners."
Eyes strayed to the tray and its belongings hungrily. Now that he was fully alerted to it he wanted it. He poured himself some tea and perused the other things on it while she offered him things. His mind was dulled though and so the first thought wasn't sexual, it was more along the lines of comfort. He needed to bathe badly, to get out of these bloody, sweaty and dirty clothes and into something far more relaxing.
"Yes, you may. Stay here until I am finished and then you will help bathe me. My body is very worn out and my muscles ache, I need someone to help with removal of my clothing, bathing of my body and then bandaging of my wound." Now he looked back to wards her.
"Also, what is your name? I would like to know who will be seeing me nude soon enough." He smirked at her with that comment and took a slow sip of the tea, a genuine smile of pleasure on his face.

Kikio bowed her head in response to the order. She found nothing strange about it at all, especially if he was injured. But she did want to know how he got injured. Still, it was not her place to ask. Yutaka folded her hands together and rest them against her collarbone, smiling even more widely. To be near someone with high rank and the Emperor himself - she would have to tell her family about this.
In acquire to her name she took a step towards him and reached over to touch part of her hair that was resting on her shoulders. "Yutaka Kikio, sir," once giving her name she closed her eyes for a second and re-opened them.

"Kikio." He seemed to roll her name around on the tip of his tongue before fully digesting it. She had a fairly pretty name and he gave her a small smile while he enjoyed the small luxury of having things brought to you. The tea was wonderful and the other things were just as pleasing. But he was so very tired he half thought he was not doing the flavors justice because he could not fully enjoy them.
After he was done he straightened everything on the tray neatly and turned toward her again, his eyes rather heavy lidded as it was. Reminding himself not to do such a stupid things again...going so long without sleep or food and then on a mad goose chase for Kyo. Plus all the extra work. It would make it too easy for someone to sneak up on him...and he trusted no one. His paranoia would be the death of him someday.
"Let us make haste, before I fall asleep while walking to my chambers." Quiet laugh accompanied his words and he stood, fixing his bloodstained clothing before walking to the door.

Once Akiyama was done with the tray, she reached over and took hold of it. Her eyes following the man's movements very steadily while he approached the door. Moving forward quickly she pressed the tray against her torso to enable herself a free hand. She then opened the door for the Emperor and herself and once they both set outside she handed the tray over to one of the servants passing by.
Seeing as she was standing so close to Akiyama, she took in all of the scars and dried blood on his hand. Reaching forward she asked: "May I?" before she got an answer she picked up the Emperor's right hand and examined it carefully, turning it over to make sure there wasn't an infection. Then she folded out his fingers and placed her hand in mid-center of his palm to lead him towards the bathhouse.

He froze as he was walking when she grabbed his hand. Eyebrows drew down in annoyance and he glared at her touching him. But wait, he did tell her she would be helping him with everything else soon enough. And there was also the fact that he could barely make it there on his own if he tried. Now that he had food in his belly he was even more tired, and more relaxed. How ridiculous.
Once they made it to the bathhouse he none too subtly extricated his hand from hers and stretched himself, popping some things in his spine, hips and neck. "I hope you will not be too embarrassed by the tasks I will be having you perform." He felt odd being this accommodating to someone, this nice, but he needed to be. It wouldn't do to rip her head off and then expect her to not want to harm him in his state.

Kikio shifted her hand away and watched the Emperor accommodate himself by stretching. Once she was done she slowly stood before him and reached her hands out to start undoing his clothing. She was quick with it, and her left hand moved around his waist to pull at least all the fabric free. Now that it was loose she moved to the other's left arm and started to lift the fabric up and over, until at least he was fully exposed to the cold air.
"Not all, sir," she said rather quietly. "It would be a disgrace to show embarrassment under such high regards," and she would continue to further speak highly of him. Finally did she folding the clothing up and set it aside, only to reach for the condiments like the cloth and other liquids for bathing. With her free hand she gestured Akiyama forward. "Please step in, sir," she indicated towards the water.

He remained as still as possible while she removed his clothing. Wincing slightly when the fabric had to be pulled off from his sliced up arm, where it had decided to stick stubbornly. Now the lengthy cut was bleeding freely again and Akiyama grumbled in annoyance. This would not stop him from bathing, he needed to be clean before he slept or he would have wretched rest and that would not do. Especially if her were to take care of certain things awaiting him elsewhere.
"Your doing very well Kikio, for not being here that long." Compliments were rare indeed coming from Akiyama anyway. But he stepped gingerly into the water taking his time because of just how sore he was. His eyes slid shut and he sat down, relaxing as best that he could with his arm throbbing like it was and not being in his own bed. "I think I may make you my personal servant, what do you think about that?"

Kikio watched Akiyama step into the bath and she slowly moved closer, leaning against the edge while she set the items down. She had seen the blood so she moved her hands into the water to fish the arm out, slowly wiping the blood away with a cloth. Once it was cleaned she poured a separate liquid on it so that it would immediately dry up and no longer allow the blood flow. She paused abruptly, a tinge of color coming to her face because of the compliment. The offer even made her smile.
"It is a great honor," she said coolly into his ear. She was leaning over his left shoulder, wetting a different cloth to slowly clean the Emperor's face. Kikio continued doing this with the rest of his body, but whenever she got to a new cut she would work around it to not irritate the wounds. Satisfied with the upper-frame work she curved herself to pick up the pail. Filling it with water she took her left hand and marked it over the man's eyes before pouring the warm water onto his hair. Once wet she dapped liquids into her palm to reach over and slowly work at his hair. Kikio made sure to message his scalp, wanting him to relax.
"If there is anything specific you want me to do, sir, please share."

A soft sigh escaped him as he relaxed even more, almost on the edge of sleep. The only thing keeping him, as a moment before, was that it was water and not his bed. The nakedness had nothing to do with it, he was scandalous enough to sleep naked every night, he didn't care it was just what he preferred.
She could see goosebumps rise up on his flesh when she spoke in his ear. It also caused something else to stir but he growled lowly about it. This was not the time to become aroused, even though he could have her. Not only could he have her, but it seemed like it would be willingly. That was a bit of a shocker and he turned his head to look at her, his eyes meeting hers, faces scant inches away.
"Anything? What if I wished you to strip down and service me in the bath? Or once we are back in my chambers I told you to pleasure me, or let me have my way with you?" He was being free with his words, no reason not to.

Done with that task she slowly motioned her hand to the man's forehead when he spoke to her. And quickly did she pour another douse of water over his hair to wash out the foam. When she was done she set the pail aside and stared back into his dark eyes. "I would happily do all, Emperor Kisho. Except for the last one for that requires marriage. I hope you do understand, sir, but there are places for those who give that type of act freely." And she was being honest with her words, saying it in an almost suggestive way.
Now that she was close she could see the goose bumps and her brows raised. "Would you like to get out now, sir? To dress your wounds."

Laughter bubbled forth from him and he gestured around him expansively. "Marriage? How amusing. I am already marrying someone though. But in all actuality marriage is not required. I am the Emperor I can take whatever it is that I want from whomever I wish." The tone of his voice pitched lower and sounded dangerous before he shrugged his strong shoulders. "I do not go for common whores. I prefer my lovers to be untouched to a point. I deserve far better then the common heathen."
Now he stood, the water rushing down his sleek form. Again he stretched, giving out soft sighs of pleasure. Stepping out of the bath he looked down at his body, and smiled. He looked good, he knew he did though. And all this talk about such things left an unmistakable impression on certain parts of his anatomy. "Yes of course, lets take care of this arm before it decides to flow freely again."
