Akihito sat in the tent and followed the set rules he was given. He didn't even bother to question the guards or soldiers that stopped by. If he wanted to stay alive he would continue to take a path of steady good-behavior. However, he heard a commotion outside - people screaming and what not. He wondered if they were under attack. Although he heard someone call out that they were going to come in, Chinese of course.
Looking up he noticed two new faces and his head craned to the right-side in awe. "Good day," he said to the two. Akihito wondered what they wanted.

Xiao whirled on Shikang. "We were cheated!" he said, sounding utterly scandalized, "The guy isn't even Japanese!"

Shikang stepped back when Xiao took a whirl, giving Xiao a how-do-you-know look. "Even so, why are his hands bound?" he asked Xiao and not the captive himself, wanting to let Xiao know the whole point of going through the trouble to do this was to find out why.

Akihito gave a look of surprise when one of the soldiers turned around. Was Xiao in a disguise as a Chinese soldier from Japan? Did either of them know Japanese?
"Sumimasen," said the prince, trying to catch their attention.

"Soo-me what?" echoed a very lost Xiao, glancing at the prince. He didn't dare go closer than where he stood. The guy might've been bound, but that was no indication of safety. "What did he say?" he asked Shikang, "Is that...his name?"

"Why are you asking me? Ask him yourself," Shikang gave Xiao an annoyed look before stepping slightly ahead of his team mate to get closer to the captive. "State your name and your business here," he demanded, voice cold.

He finally configured the two of them were just Chinese. Sitting up he watched the two converse, ignoring him. The taller one stepped forward and was demanded to give information about himself. Why didn't the two know?
"My name is Koyada Akihito, my current goal is to return to my home land safely since the negotiation with the Emperor was most likely false."

"Whoooa, wait a minute. You wanted to meet our emperor? Who are you anyway?" questioned Xiao, meaning a position, not a name.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wondered where Xue was.

As if on cue, Xue burst in, bending over double and breathing raggedly as he clutched at his heart. He'd managed to get away; as he'd been tackled from behind, soldier after soldier tripped and landed on top of them, and he'd somehow managed to crawl out from under the pile and slip away unnoticed.
"Y-You... you guys..." he breathed, the faintest traces of anger seeping in through his gasping.

Shikang watched the abrupt entrance and turned to stare at the kid with a slight smile. He was glad to see the kid unharmed. Not wanting to upset the kid anymore, he said nothing at all. Rather he waited for the captive to answer Xiao's question.

"Oh," said Xiao plainly, stepping back to give their...dressed teammate room to breathe. He looked utterly disheveled. The ornament Shikang had tied into his hair was only limply hanging off a strand or two, and Xiao reached over to pull it off before he dropped it completely, handing it back to its owner. The dress was wrinkled, but otherwise unharmed (which was good, considering it looked rather expensive). "You're alive!" he added optimistically.

"N-No thanks to you!" Xue straightened himself out as best he could, gathering the tattered shreds of whatever dignity he might've had left, as his breathing finally slowed to normal.
It was only then that he seemed to notice the stranger in front of him. "I'm... sorry to barge in on you like this," he said slowly to the man, glancing questioningly at his two teammates.

Akihito's eyes lifted to the newcomer and gave him a soft smile. "You can't really barge in on me since I am a captive," his gaze settled on Xiao since he asked the question. As in whom he was. ".. Prince of Japan," his voice was weak when he said this considering no one believed him here. Also it took strength to even say the given title.

Shikang's eyes lit up when the captive said he was the Prince of Japan. The reaction was out of disbelief but that also meant if what he said was true, they would have to leave the tent in haste. This wasn't some normal captive, apparently. "I think we should go," he said quietly.

"PRINCE?!" yelled Xiao, forgetting for a moment in his surprise to keep his voice down. "The...the prince of Japan is standing in front of us right now?!"
